Kym's

Andrew Wong has named his second restaurant Kym's, after his grandmother. In the heart of the new gastronomy centre of the Bloomberg Arcade the impressive building reveals an elegantly simple interior with natural wood, subtle Chinese decor and bare plaster walls, made warmer by the use of pinks and plum tones in the soft furnishings. With its large glass frontage, during the day it is bathed with natural daylight and at night, the lighting creates an inviting and intimate ambience. 

The centrepiece of the restaurant is the beautifully traditional Cherry Tree, surrounded on one side by the sweeping staircase to the restaurant Mezzanine, and on the other by a stunning copper-topped bar. Perhaps the highlight of the restaurant, if you get the chance, is to take a seat at the open kitchen bar where you can really watch the masters at work.
