La Brasserie has been a firm favourite on Chester's dining scene for over 20 years. At the heart of the city centre and it is an unrivalled spot for people watching or perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle.

Within The Chester Grosvenor, a five AA Red Star destination (highest accolade), the hotel has been the City of Chester's "premier place to stay" since 1865. In 2018 it completed an extensive refurbishment of La Brasserie to modernise the interiors and include a bespoke brass and quartz Champagne and Cocktail Bar at the heart of the restaurant, stocking a unique selection of champagne, spirits and cocktails.

Alongside great bistro a la carte lunch and dinner menus with dishes such as Loin of Highland venison - Braised haunch chartreuse, smoked celeriac and juniper or Coq au vin - Free range chicken, burgundy onions, mushrooms and bacon, La Brasserie also serve brunch daily from 11 am.
