Overview
Arguably the food capital of Yorkshire, Swinton Park is a luxury castle hotel renowned for its cooking calibre with its restaurant, cookery school and the largest hotel kitchen garden anywhere in the UK - in fact four acres in total. There is a sense throughout the castle of it being more of a lavish home than a hotel, but it is far from stuffy, and deceptively convenient to get to from the A1(M).

Food plays such a prominent part of this hotel and needless to say, the standards of service are excellent. Samuel's is their award-winning fine dining restaurant. It is a spacious and airy room with gilded ceiling and an enormous mantelpiece. The views are stunning of its sweeping landscape over the Deerpark and Home Lake. You could always stroll in the 200 acres later.
