Chef/Proprietor Ernst van Zyl creates a kaleidoscope of very high standard modern dishes which not surprisingly feature heavily on local season produce from the surrounding beautiful hills and plains of the Cheshire countryside. His dynamic dishes and flavours give a a hint to the van Zyl's background from stages in The Fat Duck and Noma. Here the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly with the husband and wife team making this charming pub a very special destination.
