The Wright Brothers, Spitalfields

This classy fish restaurant, tucked into Spitalfield's covered market, has a certain subtle elegance to it. It’s the kind of place a private eye, whilst grilling an insouciant Michelle Pfeiffer, would wryly watch the afternoon dwindle to twilight over a bottle or two of Prosecco.

The restaurant is dominated by a huge marble bar, it has a lot of live crustacea and, well, it’s magnificent. Not because it does anything fancy or unusual, but simply because it cooks a big range of seafood exceedingly well and sells it at a reasonable price. A suitable venue for grilling beautiful villainesses.
