Galvin Bistrot & Bar

Galvin Bistrot & Bar (former Galvin HOP) reflects the look and style of the great French bistrots of Paris and Lyon, and serves deep-flavoured dishes at reasonable prices, showcasing the best seasonal produce.

It features bentwood chairs and leather banquettes, blackboards, mirrors chalked with the day’s specials, wine posters and antique pictures, sitting alongside objets d’Art and a curvaceous zinc bar with its own history.

The food, service and ambience is distinctly French, with classic bistrot dishes such as Soupe de Poisson, Steak Tartare, Salad of Endive and Roquefort and with mains like Skate with Brown Butter, Wood Roast Chicken with salad, and Steak au Poivre with frites. Desserts include Galvin’s highly praised Apple Tarte Tatin with crème fraiche, Baba au Rhum and Floating Island with crème Anglaise.

House-made terrines and charcuterie from some of the best artisan suppliers feature on the menu and are served with Parisian style baguettes and traditional accompaniments.
