This is one of London's most well known modern French restaurants and is named after one of the world's rarest and most expensive wines. It's telling that few restaurants stock Pétrus, but with its 60 page fine wines menu, you can even order by the glass. Oenophiles rejoice.

Gordon Ramsay's Pétrus is a very sophisticated and plush dining experience. Its location between Knightsbridge and Hyde Park corner draws in the well-healed and has a discerning neighbourhood vibe. The modern interior has a centre-piece futuristic glass encased wine room, and the surrounding dining area is in pastel shades off-set by striking claret walls, linen draped tablecloths and comfortably spaced table settings to cater for its often famous clientele. Pétrus consistently delivers high-end modern European cuisine, presented with exquisite detail and precision.
