The 150 acres estate also comprises of a boutique hotel, picture perfect cottages, cookery school, tithe barn for dinners, celebrations and corporate events, and a sophisticated cocktail bar. Restored to a true village pub with a less formal style of hospitality and rustic cooking, this impressive new space has been created in the sensitively-restored historic building that once housed the village's bakery.

A collaboration between Head Chef, Matt Wardman and Culinary Director, Charlie Hibbert, The Swan includes a nod to both Southrop's farming roots and Norman heritage; Southrop's Norman church and France's wonderful bistros inspire Pissaladiere, Pithivier and Saucisson as well as fresh rye and sourdoughs. Committed to using home-grown, seasonal produce, these signature staples are complemented by a blackboard of tarts, pies and homemade terrines. The wonderful kitchen gardens provide the very freshest of vegetables, herbs and eggs collected daily. With such fresh produce and the genuine love of the land, a truly memorable country experience is certain.
